Account book, 1760-1794.

Much of this account book includes records of surveying jobs performed by Heywood. Although it is not possible to determine whether his surveying was in connection with the Wentworth grants, it appears likely because of Charlestown's location. During the years 1760 to 1794, Heywood also ran a general store in Charlestown. The account book also includes records of purchases and payments made on goods. In addition, there are records relating to his duties as Justice of the Peace. There is an alphabetical index of all customers and clients, including the page numbers of the account book where the person's account is found. Also included are directions for dyeing cloth.
